Snow Drifter

Since winter has finally arrived, cute little Miku is up for a ride on her snowboard, jumping from hill to hill.

I took this outdoor picture during a local convention in Austria that is located in an area where snow is much more guaranteed than here in Vienna. To be fair, Nendo-shots are not my favorite and I always find it tricky to get the pose right on those little figures. The shooting conditions in freezing temperatures and knee high snow weren’t helpful either.  

At least I pulled it off and the picture turned out somewhat like the image I had in mind. A big shout-out to a friend who lend me a hand or two in order to hold the flash light and threw some snow from the sideline into the picture.

PS: This 2016 Snow Miku with her soft parts and her knitted cap is an interesting piece of work, but I’m even more excited for 2017s Snow Miku because I like her design way more than last year’s Miku.  Hopefully my pre-order will arrive soon.
