Shattered Dreams

Another picture I was desperate to do – for almost one year.

I bought this figure short after their release in January 2012 and it took my nearly until January 2013 to have it done. Mostly because I wasn’t certain how to create the stained glasses for the surroundings. So I have to give a big shout out to for leading me on the “window color trail” First I wanted to create the painted glasses out of real tiffany craft material and colored glass, what in my opinion would be too expensive and demanding for my skills.

The result is very satisfying – even for me. I do love how great the colors work out and how randomly the light breaks through multiple layers of glass. And it almost look a little bit Christmassy – since we did the shooting on the 23rd of December.
