Hello folks, Edi Edhutschek here with a big announcement!

I can see that my figure pictures are well received and I'm very proud for that.
So I will carry on taking high quality figure pictures in 2012 - but don't expect to much
of them, since it take a very long time to shoot photos like this.

Also I almost can only do this during fall, winter and spring - for me summer is convention time!

You may, or may not know that my real passion isn't taking pictures but to film.
An so, most of my spare time I taking footage with my camera or sitting in front of  a PC to
do the editing.

And for the last four years we do this to the extreme! Creating a whole pice of setup, theme
and genre to present our anual slogan. This yeas slogan is "Taking care of business" and it
is a reference to a couple of "being rich" movies like Wall Street, Denver-Clan, Dallas, Filofax
but also a criticism to how Conventions and our all hobby Anime/Manga has developed.
We can clearly see that it is more business-like than it was ten years ago. Meaning the Events
became bigger and bigger and many companies rise and fall during this periode.
But also the behavior of the fans has changed. Beeing a "Cameko", a Cosplaser, a Reseller or
even a normal fan isn't the same than it was back in 1999.
Is this sad? Maybe... Is it good? You have to judge it by your own.  Fact is that in a world of
globalization we've to stand tall against each and everyone.

So taking care of your business and enjoy the new theme setup for "Die Con ist Heiss" in 2012!
